LLF Diocesan Course - for Church Groups

(This event is starting mid-June 2021)

Living in Love and Faith (LLF) is a major 'learning journey' project for the Church of England. At the heart of the project is a five-session course.

Book here for our diocesan Online version of the LLF course for Church Groups. We'll sort out the tech; you just need to book and turn up.

You’ll see the course videos in plenary with everybody else, then be in your own breakout rooms for discussion, as a group, with your group leader.

(We are also offering limited spaces for individuals on the same dates. To book as an individual, please register here: https://bit.ly/3u53BiK. Engaging as a local church group will normally be the ideal, but we appreciate that it won’t always be possible.)

When?:

This event will take place over five Wednesday evenings. We would like you to engage with and take part in all the following dates:

• Wednesday 16th June, 7:15pm - 9pm
• Wednesday 23rd June, 7:15pm - 9pm
• Wednesday 30th June, 7:15pm - 9pm
• Wednesday 7th July, 7:15pm - 9pm
• Wednesday 14th July, 7:15pm - 9pm

Who is this event for?:

• Groups of people from local churches or benefices.
• Each group needs to identify and include a group leader. A significant part of the LLF Course is spent in group discussion (typically 45 minutes or so per evening, spread over 3 chunks). For these discussions, your group will be in its own online ‘breakout room’, and the group leader will be asked to take the lead in enabling good discussion.
• We strongly encourage each group leader to have previously attended a Briefing for Group Leaders (https://bit.ly/3dkUofr). They are likely to also find it helpful to have attended an Overview and Taster event (https://bit.ly/3dmp2VJ).
• Some benefices might send 2 or more groups, each with a group leader. Each group leader will need to take charge or registering their group as mentioned below.

How to register as a Group:

If you have decided to join this event as a group, please choose a group leader to register all of your group members details. Before you register, your group leader will need all of your group's names, email addresses, and phone numbers to register. There is a limit of 5 people per group, plus group leader, per group.

Once the group leader registers all of your details, each person within the group will receive their own individual notification from Eventbrite. If you have any problems, please contact Katie on the details below.
