Shared Health Foundation

It’s time to take action on health. Across Greater Manchester the very poorest in our city region face a life expectancy over a decade shorter than the most affluent.

Shared Health Foundation aims to address these health inequalities that cause hardship for individuals and families and impact on our effectiveness as a regional economy. Poor health holds us all back, as a city and as individuals.

The devolution of health and social care provides a significant opportunity to create new relationships between communities and voluntary, public sector and business partners across Greater Manchester to tackle these health inequalities. We also have a chance to set a new agenda, of personal responsibility, across the city region.
