Bite Prevention and Handling training for Dog Groomers

Very little training is given to professionals on reading and understanding the pet dog, especially when they come into the salon to be groomed. Working as a professional dog groomer for 9 years, I remember when I first started grooming.  I struggled with fidgety dogs and those that were aggressive.  Shortly after finishing my dog groming qualification I enrolled onto the Canine Behaviour and training degree over at Bishop Burton.  After many years of hard work, experience, giving my free time to charities, observing dogs in different settings.  I started to see posts online with other groomers asking for advice on ‘problem dogs’.  This then made me realise that I do not get stressed out with grooming like I used to, because of all the skills I have learned, and that is were I can help you.

I have designed a workshop to help you with dogs with issues, understanding them and managing them to stop them getting stressed. From an experienced, qualified Dog Groomer and Trainer. I am very lucky to put my skill set together and share with you in my Bite Prevention and Handling training workshop for Dog groomers all over.
