Dopplereffekt presents: Neutrino
Gustaf Adolfs Kyrka
Fri 30 Sep / 20:00 – 23:00
£10 / £8
Dopplereffekt is one of the strangest and most mysterious units on the electronic music scene today. Only a handful of interviews with the group exist, and live appearances are likewise a rare occurence. What we do know is that Dopplereffekt’s most recent release Calabi Yau Space (Rephlex Records) is a melodic and rhythmic journey in to the world of theoretical physics. Continuing this interest in the further reaches of science, Neutrino is a new project from the group that will use astrophysics lectures as the basis for a dense, involving audio visual performance.
When & Where
Abandon Normal Devices
Abandon Normal Devices (AND) is a catalyst for new approaches to art-making and digital invention, commissioning ground breaking projects which challenge the definitions of art and moving image.
Inviting artists to hijack the imagination by developing projects which abandon traditional settings and partnerships, AND brings together an eclectic mix of academics, filmmakers, scientists and anarchists to actively push the boundaries of audience experience and arts production.
The AND portfolio consists of film happenings, exhibitions, performances, online projects, residencies, public realm interventions and a roaming biennial festival. For regular updates about our current and upcoming projects sign up to our e-newsletter here.
