On 14th February, we are pleased to welcome Dr Herman Hauser, CBE FREng FRS, and one of the most respected entrepreneurs, high-tech investors and innovators in Silicon Fen. This is promised to be an enlightening evening, with Dr Hauser sharing with us his many insights, on the success and failure stories of the Cambridge High-Tech Cluster, and what we can learn from it as the next generation to come. About Dr Hermann Hauser

After finishing a Physics PhD at Cambridge, Dr Hermann Hauser co-founded Acorn Computer in 1978 with Chris Curry. From Acorn, he then helped spin out one of the most successful microprocessor companies in the world, ARM Computers, which has a 90 per cent market share of the mobile phone market. Throughout his career, he has co-founded and helped start more than 20 companies, including ATML, Cambridge Network, and Amadeus Capital Partners, a Venture Capital Firm that has invested in high profile companies such as Cambridge Silicon Radio, Solexa, and Icera.
