What are the most important local actions that you will initiate to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions?

Our Climate is changing. What do you think will be the most significant local consequences of our climate changing, and how will you help our community live with these consequences?

We have already lost a lot of our local biodiversity. What are your priorities to increase green space and help nature recover?

Whilst waiting for the event to start, you will be able to submit a question on a special form and we will then choose 5 questions to be asked from the floor.

The question will need to be climate/environment focussed please.

How can I find out more about the organisers - PACE?

There will be a display in the foyer about PACE (Practical Action for the Climate and the Environment) and, after the event, we will be on hand to talk to people and hand out refreshments. Our website is here - https://www.pacemanningtree.org.uk/

All five have been  invited and Andrew Canessa (Green), Alex Diner (Labour), Bernard Jenkin (Conservative), and Natalie Sommers (Liberal Democrats) have agreed to attend.

Can I just turn up on the night?

Yes, but it would be really helpful if you used EventBrite to book your place so we know how many to expect.

Can I park at the Venture Centre?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there are plenty of parking spaces but by walking or cycling you would significantly reduce the  carbon footprint of the event.
