Professor Stephen Caddick, Vice-Provost (Enterprise) would like to invite you to a Town Hall event on Wednesday 8th May, from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, in the Christopher Ingold XLG Lecture Theatre (Chemistry Building opposite the Bloomsbury Theatre) with a reception to follow from 5:00pm to 6:00pm in the adjacent Nyholm Room.
We strongly encourage everyone interested in learning more about UCL Consultants and also UCL’s developmental plans for CPD and Short Courses to attend.
Regarding UCL Consultants, Roger de Montfort will be discussing: “What do we mean by consultancy, who are UCL Consultants, what do they do, what is UCL’s policy on consultancy and how can they help me and my department with undertaking consultancy activity? What are UCL’s plans for the growth of consultancy as part of the Enterprise strategy, and how can I contribute to them?”
Regarding UCL CPD & Short Course Development, Andrew Eder will be addressing: “What is the vision and where does it sit within UCL’s Enterprise strategy? What infrastructure is available to support staff and departments in developing new courses? What are the core values embedded in this key educational area? What are the next steps in developing and delivering a strategic plan for growth?”
Following short presentations at the start, there will be ample time for questions and discussion. Roger and Andrew have met with many interested staff since January as part of their ongoing strategic visioning and planning process and are keen to enhance existing collaborations and also establish new relationships with staff and departments across UCL.
Everyone is welcome and places are free but so that we have an idea of numbers please register your attendance on this eventbrite page.
