Envisioning the library of the future – Ivybridge workshop
This workshop will be a discussion as part of our programme of research and debate that will begin to envisage what the library of the future could and should look like.
The workshop will build on the societal trends work that is currently taking place, and will explore the implications for the delivery of library services in the future based on a set of possible scenarios.
The event will also begin a process of innovative thinking about how library services could develop, through open space discussions. You will be asked to contribute your views and take an active part in the conversation.
Date: 14 May 2012
Venue: Ivybridge Library, The Watermark, Erme Court, Leonards Road, Ivybridge, Devon PL21 0SZ
Times: Registration 10.30am, workshop 11am-4pm
Lunch will be provided, please let us know as soon as possible if you have any specific dietary requirements.
Places on the events are limited so we are asking people to apply for a place in the first instance to be added to a holding list. We’re asking people interested what their interest is in libraries so that we can make sure that each event covers a balance of different perspectives. Applicants will then be notified on whether or not they have been allocated a place.
