Ethics in Healthcare and other Regulated Marketing and Communications

This joint event by CIPR Health and Medical and CIPR Marketing Communications looks at ethical approaches to joint working in healthcare communications and in other industries where communications are regulated.
Whether it is statutory or self-regulated, communications and marketing practices in highly-regulated sectors like pharma, finance, alcohol and tobacco, are subject to a high level of scrutiny and ethical standards.
Although ethics are relevant to all human and communicative behaviour. The relevance of ethics to health communication is perhaps more apparent and obvious than is the case for many other areas of communication, because health communication touches on issues such as life and death, and mental and physical well-being.
