Evelina De Lain Trio are delighted to perform at this amazing historic venue (built in 1582), spread over the grounds of a lovely Waterlow Park.

Evelina De Lain is a multifaceted artist who has blended classical performance, jazz interpretation and her own contemporary style into a unique aural environment. Her ensemble tonight, in addition to herself at the piano, features an accomplished flautist Alisa Klimanska and fabulous cellist Tatiana Chernyshova and features a special guest Lilia Iontcheva on Percussion.

This concert will premiere a 1-act ballet written by Evelina De Lain in collaboration with Alisa Klimanska "Narcissus Triangle", which will feature Piano, Flute, Percussion and Multimedia design. Lots of exciting tangos, jazz, classical and original music will follow.

Evelina De Lain - concert pianist, composer, improviser, vocalist

Virtuoso pianist and composer Evelina De Lain is a unique and multifaceted artist, effectively blending classical performance, contemporary classical composition and jazz interpretation into an innovative and compelling concert style.

With Masters in Music, Evelina performs classical recitals with the same ease as jazz and contemporary concerts. Having released three albums and two sheet music books, and with two new albums on the way, Evelina has already gained international recognition.
Five-time Emmy Award winning composer Mark Watters called her a unique creation that is rapidly inventing her own genre, while legendary American jazz singer Tony Bennett said that her jazz interpretations stopped him in his tracks.

Having participated in A-List events, including top national exhibition opening and awards, her recent achievements include Recording as a hand double for BBC series "Last tango in Halifax", Performing at the opening of Hollywood Costume exhibition at V&A museum, playing at the "100 most influential women of the UK" event at Saatchi galleries, touring the world from Singapore to Alaska.

Evelina has appeared before Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall, UK prime-ministers John Major and David Cameron, Vise-President of USA - John Kerrey, Prime Minister of France Francois Fillon, etc., legendary musicians Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Madonna, “Earth Wind and Fire”, Bobby McFerrin, Lionel Ritchie, etc., and award-winning actors, such as Dame Judy Dench, Oscar-winners Russell Crowe, Nicole Kidman, etc.
Evelina De Lain merges improvisation, art, videography, vocal, instrumental, solo and ensemble performances creating an exclusive and sophisticated aural environment.

Alisa Klimanska - flutes

Alisa Klimanska was born in Riga, Latvia and since the early childhood music took a very special place in her life. Winner of many flute and chamber music competitions in Latvia, Alisa gained an extensive experience in classical music and participated in concerts and festivals in Latvia, Germany and London.

Alisa has been living in London, UK since 2008 and graduated Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Currently Alisa is collaborating with musicians from different genres, teaches flute and works with children and adults with special needs.

Alisa believes that music is a limitless power that can bring us better understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Her warm and sincere musicality has already found a place in many people’s hearts.

Alisa has been the member of Evelina De Lain Trio since 2011.


Alice Jones on Cello. 


Alice grew up in Llanidloes, Mid-Wales. She studied the cello from the age of 8 and was a member of the North Powys Youth Orchestra for many years, performing the Saint-Saens Cello Concerto No.1 with them in 2003. Alice graduated from Dartington College of Arts in 2006 with a first class honors degree in Music and in 2011 she graduated with a Masters degree in Performance from Trinity College of Music where she received Pearson and TCM Trust scholarships.


Over recent years, as well as giving recital concerts around Britain, Alice has played at the Spitalfields Music Festival, on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune series, at the Royal Albert Hall and in the Festival Orchestra at Dartington. After performing Elgar’s Cello Concerto with the Cobweb Orchestra in March 2010, Alice had a Cello Concertino written for her by composer, John Hawkes. The piece was premiered in April 2011 with 3 successful repeat performances. Alice performed Dvorak’s Cello Concerto and Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C with the Cobweb Orchestra in Tuscany last year. In 2013/14, Alice has performed recital concerts with the Florestan Duo, Evelina De Lain Trio and the Turner Trio in London, Hertfordshire, Devon and Wales.
