Event Details

This is a unique event designed to encourage people to revisit their assumptions and beliefs around what is needed to live well with dementia.

Using the popular Whose Shoes?® approach this guided interactive experience will encourage people to explore and engage with their feelings, opinions and experiences of dementia.

This event will create an opportunity for people from every part of the local community to connect in a way that increases mutual support and understanding.

The event will be hosted by Gill Phillips, creator of Whose Shoes?® and Ken Howard who is living with younger onset dementia.  Gill and Ken are a good team for breaking down stereotypes and challenging your thinking!

The session will be very informal, interactive and relaxed with plenty of opportunity for discussion and having your say.

There will be a buffet lunch from 12.30pm with the event running from 1.30pm – 4.45pm.
