We know that when you are setting up your social enterprise, you will be juggling many tasks and issues to get it off the ground. You may not have previous experience in setting up a business so things like tax returns, cash flow forecasts and opening a business bank accounts may not be familiar to you.
Firstport wants to help you by putting all the business basics in one place, information, templates, guides and more!
We are working on developing Startbright, one of our existing products, to fill this gap but we need your input to get it right!
The concept behind Startbright is a practical tool that you can use to find reliable information that saves you time and hassle. It'll provide practical information in areas such as setting up a company, tax returs and HR; templates you can use to create invoices, cash flow forecasts and useful guides. Maybe even a short list of trusted suppliers.
To make sure Startbright meets the needs of social entrepreneurs we want to involve social entrepreneurs in how it is developed. We want to hear what you think about it and for you to get hands on and test it out for us. We need feedback on whether the information is clear and easy to find, is it something you would use and do you have any other ideas we’ve maybe not thought of?
We realise that you many commitments but we hope you find this a great opportunity to shape a product that can really help the development of your social enterprise. You will also get a chance to meet and network with other recent award winners, share ideas, experience and knowledge.
