Fishmongers' Hall is a rare example of a Greek Revival town building, featuring an arcaded granite base and a riverside terrace. Designed by the architect Henry Roberts and built between 1832 and 1835, the Hall's classical simplicity is contrasted by the magnificence of its interior rooms.
Open on Saturday 20th September 2014 for pre-booked tours only. Tours led by the Curator start at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm and last for 30 minutes. Access is by our main entrance on London Bridge only, please note there is no access to the Hall from Lower Thames Street or Swan Lane. Tours commence promptly and there will be no access to Hall outside of the above mentioned times. Tours are limited to 30 people and there is a maximum of four tickets per application.
Please note that the main entrance has steps and may not be suitable for wheelchair users or prams. The tour also includes a number of steps.
Photography is not permitted within Fishmongers' Hall.
