About this event

Nottinghamshire is rich in legends and folklore. Stories flow below the surface through endless sandstone catacombs and the coal dust choked holes of the defunct mining industry. Fingers pull on the bowstrings of time, arrows pointing toward stocking frame destructors and luddite rebels, and the feigned insanity of Gotham fools. They trace the expensive finery of interwoven lace – a pretty pattern legacy of worker sweat and toil. Join writer Andrew Graves as he explores these hidden histories and strange tales in an interactive and informative poetry workshop, aimed at giving you the opportunity to create your own work based on these myths and folkloric traditions.

All ages, abilities and levels welcome. For adults.
