what next for capitalism?

Tony Greenham, Head of Finance and Business, nef (the new economics foundation)
Chaired by Anna Coote
The Occupy demonstrators have been evicted from St Paul’s. But the causes of the protest and the questions it provoked have not gone away. How can we move away from an economic system that concentrates wealth and opportunity in the top 1%? How much change is possible? What steps can we as citizens take to make a difference?
nef (the new economics foundation) would like to invite you an exciting public discussion on the legacy and implications of the Occupy movement with:
- international finance expert Ross Jackson on the eve of the publication of his new book Occupy World Street which offers a plan of action for 'the 99 percent'.
- UK Uncut activist Danni Pafford, who founded Move Your Money UK, a national campaign to build a better banking system through collective action this month.
- former investment banker and member of the Regional Growth Fund Advisory panel Tony Greenham, who heads up nef’s research on reforming the financial sector and aligning the interests of society and business.
To take part in this exciting event please register as space will be limited.
