Mindfullybeing's KAMAL (Kindness and Mindfulness Approach to Living) Foundation is not-for-profit project for everyone interested in Mindfulness and Kindness based teachings and practices in the current world. Its initiated by Avinash Bansode and associated teachers to support all levels of practitioners to help them integrate and embed mindfulnesss in their daily life. 'KAMAL' also means 'Lotus' in Indian language. Lotus is a symbol in most spiritual traditions for the highest and purest spiritual growth and transformation.

We happily invite you to attend these Gatherings and Celebration, which we offer every fourth Sunday of the month at St. Bernard's club, Life Care Centre, 1 Cheyne Street in Stockbridge at 2pm.

OUR INTENTIONS:

Through these Gatherings, we intend to create a pool of wisdom and compassion in which we grow as Lotuses (KAMAL). It is also intended to support and encourage your ongoing practice in a light hearted and playful way, by gently reminding you the value of Kindness and Mindfulness practices. It is important to appreciate and celebrate our commitment, support and effort in practicing and advocating Mindful Awareness and it is with this in mind, that we are extending the invitation to all our course participants. It will be an opportunity to informally get-together as practitioners. 

PROGRAMME:

Michele Hipwell, one of our associate teacher will be leading most of these sessions along with other mindfulness practitioners. For our Gatherings, we have a rough idea for the programme, however if anyone has any ideas to contribute, please get back to us.

  • Short meditation (led by Avinash)
  • Introduction & Theme Presentation (Michele Hipwell)
  • Talk/Worshop (Guest Practitioner)
  • Short meditation (Avinash)

 There is no payment for these celebration days however we are requesting donations to pay towards room hire. Please note that this event is open to all graduates i.e. those who have engaged in systematic training (@least one 8 weeks course) in mindfulness.

KEEPING CALM AND CARRYING ON!

We are making these celebrations, a regular event and have planned them on fourth Sunday of every month (expect in December). They also coincide with fourth Saturday of each month where we have Day Retreats in Edinburgh. So the idea is each month, we can all come together regularly, for a weekend of practice and fun.
