Getting the best results from learners with ADHD
Thursday, 20 October 2016 from 09:30 to 16:00 (BST)
This training course really gets to the heart of how to work well with pupils and students, young or old, who have ADHD and ADHD-like behaviours.
Learn more about the causes of ADHD and how these affect a person, not just in the classroom but in their everyday life. During the training we will dispel some of the myths and learn the facts around the barriers to learning which ADHD brings.
Time will be built into the day for individuals to discuss their experiences and gain strategies.
You will learn about the triggers for behaviour associated with ADHD and how to more effectively manage these in the learning environment.
We'll include real-life scenarios for you to analyse and to replicate the approaches yourself. When you understand more about the condition, you'll find it infinitely easier to recognise the problems and find solutions.
