ABOUT THE FILM

The movie tells the stories of nine girls from nine countries. Each girl had her story written by a writer from her country and voiced by renowned Hollywood actors. Their stories reflect their struggles to overcome societal or cultural barriers and show courage in some way.

Around the world, millions of girls face barriers to education that boys do not. And yet, when you educate a girl you can break cycles of poverty in just one generation.

Girl Rising is a ground-breaking film that has already been seen by millions. It's also a movement for girls education that you can be proud to support.

Watch the trailer!

Your attendance will send a message: Investing in girls is not just right, its smart.
