Cyrenians are pleased to invite you to an event to mark Global Peer Supporter Recognition Day, on Thursday October 15th at Hotel Cladhan, Lemper Avenue, Falkirk, FK1 1UF.
The aim of the event is to raise awareness of the diversity of peers, what they do, and the difference they make to people’s lives. It will also allow organisations who use peer support to get together and exchange ideas.
The event is free, will run from 11.30am – 14.15pm, and will include peer support organisations from across Scotland.

- Organisations that appoint on a paid or voluntary basis peer mentors/peer support workers
- Peer mentors
- Peer support workers
Event
Our event is built around the initiative of International Association of Peer Supporters (iNaps) who have organised the global recognition day as 15th October.
This is an opportunity for employers and peer support workers/mentors (paid or voluntary) to participate in a conversation lunch.
Our programme will also enable a moment of celebration at noon for the valuable contribution that peer mentors/sipporters make in service delivery.
Conversations will be generated by the topics you provide in advance as part of your booking.
