Event Details

Join newcomer and spoken word artist Lucy Jackson for a creative writing workshop with a sculptural slant.

Taking inspiration from our Alfred Drury exhibition of Victorian Sculpture, come and explore the many forms that sit beneath the umbrella of creative writing.

Led by Lucy Jackson, a Manchester-based spoken word artist with experience of delivering workshops in creative writing, slam poetry, songwriting and performance, this two hour session will give you the chance to express your creative side through the written word and beyond.

Whether you are an artist interested in writing, or a writer with a love of art, all levels of experience are welcome.

This is a free workshop but places are limited so please do book in advance:
