Hacker Olympics London 2014
Hacker Olympics is coming to London on the 24th of May and it is set to be one of the most memorable hacker events this summer.
What is Hacker Olympics?
Imagine a hackathon and the olympics had a baby: Teams complete exciting, challenging and often bizzare tasks to earn points. Each task will make you think quickly and creatively, encouraging you to use skills you didn't know you had.
Hack together lots of different solutions to a range of challenges in a race to accumulate points and achieve Hacker Olympics supremacy!
What are these challenges?
They're secret! But previous events have included writing bad code, writing great code, building a tower of plastic cups, and battling it out on 90s era Nintendo games. Use skills you didn’t know you had to reign victorious over the likes of Startup Charades, Songs as Code and more.
Hacker Olympics is a fast-paced event where teams compete against each other to finish in the top 3 teams, who will be awarded prizes and the coverted Hacker Olympic Medals!
