‘I just want to be miserable like everyone else!’
A vivacious young woman called Hap – nickname for happy – goes to the doctor claiming there is something wrong with her: she is too happy! Hap always feels so full of joy and wellbeing – and she doesn’t like it. The doctor she visits is a manic depressive. Hap tries to convince the doctor that her condition is serious. Her inability to experience sadness or depression has made her feel inadequate and a social outcast.
A comedy about happiness and wellbeing. Hap expresses the impossibility in modern times of simple uncomplicated happiness.
