Recognising the professional development
needs of STEM club leaders.
This free, twilight course is intended for anyone who is currently running or is considering running any kind of extra-curricular STEM club. This course will enable you to:
- reflect on how you want your STEM club to develop
- draw on the experiences of others whilst planning STEM club activities
- build robust strategies for dealing with any challenges your STEM club may face
The advice, support and insight you will have acces to on this course is drawn from the collected experiences of the members of the STEM Clubs Network. Your trainer, Mark Byles from Harvey Grammar School, will guide you through this whilst addressing your own individual needs.
The registration questions will help your trainer address your individual needs as a STEM club leader, so please take the time to carefully consider what you would like to achieve by coming on this course.
Refreshments and light snacks will be provided. And we are making coming along even more worth your while. Each school* that is represented at a STEM Clubs CPD session will receive a free smart materials kit from Mindsets worth £50.
* 1 kit per state secondary school represented at the session
