Location

The Street Wherstead IP9 2BJ United Kingdom

Description

Suffolk Health and Wellbeing Board organises an annual event and this year's theme is Neighbourliness which is timely within the context of increased emphasis on effective community networks, partnership working with the voluntary sector and the wider subject of Devolution for the county.

The intention of the event is to raise awareness of the many effective community-led schemes across the county, to consider and unblock any problems that prevent closer collaboration and to encourage a Suffolk-wide debate on what people value about their communities and what neighbourliness means to them.

The aim is to create a balance between local focus and national influence, where we can learn from the best examples in Suffolk and eleswhere around the country. We wish to encourage discussions beyond the walls of the conference venue and there will be the opportunity to engage in a variety of workshops and themed sessions.

Speakers include :-

Matthew Taylor, Chairman of the Independent Commission for Social Integration.

Minnie Moll, Executive Officer, East of England Co-operative.

We hope that you will be able to join us at The Big Suffolk Street Party - Neighbourliness.

The event is a full day with refreshments and lunch provided. Workshop / Themed sessions information will be emailed to all registered delegates prior to the event. Delegate packs will be available on the day.
