Fancy learning about alternative investments at The Shard? Join us for our next pop-up lecture on Wednesday 15 June at Europe's tallest building.

We have a jam packed event with 3 guest speakers talking on wines, Enterprise Investment Schemes (EIS)/Venture Capital Trusts (VCTs), and fine art. Each speaker will provide a thought-provoking background to each of these investment types.

NOTE: As places are limited to 70, you will need to register prior to the event. Registration closes at 5pm on 14 June. Please do not register if you are unsure or are not likely to attend, it is not fair on those who wish to attend.

Following the Pop Up Lecture we will be heading for our normal social drinks from 7:30 pm at the nearby VIVAT BACCHUS at London Bridge.

Fine Art - Christine Bourron, Founder and CEO, Pi-eX Ltd

Over the past 20 years, Christine made a career of starting innovative businesses in changing markets. She started in 1998 the first online art gallery in New York offering original artworks by more than 500 artists and in 2006 the first landscape design bureau in Moscow, Russia providing High Net Worth Individuals with turnkey solutions for the creation of large parks.

EIS/VCTs – Mike Currie – Partner, Head of Sales, Foresight Group

At Foresight Mike leads the Retail Sales team and since his arrival the Group has broadened its focus to become a leading independent Infrastructure and Private Equity investment manager, while Assets Under Management have grown from £90 million to more than £1.8 billion. Earlier in his career Mike spent seven years at Matrix Group, where in 1997 his responsibilities included the original fundraise for the Foresight VCT, or Foresight Technology VCT as it was then known, which since launch has become the all-time best performing VCT.
