Here Be Dragons ...

HERE BE DRAGONS… was a phrase often written on maps during medieval times and accompanied by drawings of dragons and serpents, to demonstrate unexplored territories.

Dragons these days are more commonly referred to in light of the BBC's Dragons Den TV show. But would you really want a "dragon" as an investment partner in your business, or are these investors really "angels" as often otherwise described?

"Here be Dragons" is an event to help dispel the myths, TV hype and what may feel like unexplored territory – the world of equity investment.

Three highly successful entrepreneurs, now turned business investors, will be inviting your questions on this morning event, providing you with a unique opportunity to ask the things you really want to know from an experienced investor, during what promises to be an open, interactive, and engaging session.

This event is hosted by the Business Growth Service, a national, government-backed support service for businesses who have the potential and ambition to improve and grow.

Attendees have the opportunity to present their questions in both a panel and round table format to learn more about angel and equity investments.
