Event Details

We're really excited about the next Wired Sussex event, Home Brewed: In Conversation with games supremo Tony Beckwith on the evening of Wednesday 4th July.

Tony Beckwith will be discussing his experience of building great games companies in Brighton.  As founder of Climax Racing, former studio head at Disney's Black Rock studio and now running start up Gobo Games, there are very few who are better qualified.

Tony will be talking about how he sold his business to Disney, what it was like working for them and his experience of starting a new games studio with a new perspective.  He will talk about where he thinks the gaming sector is going, whether we really should expect the gamification of everything and will be giving an honest appraisal of the pros and cons of the Brighton games sector.

Whether you work in the games sector, in TV, web or animation, this is a great opportunity to hear one of the true greats of the Brighton media sector talk about his approach to business.

The event is exclusive to Members of Wired Sussex, please register to guarantee your place!
