Build a website: Introduction to HTML5 and CSS3
- Film, Media & Entertainment
- The Guardian, N1 9GU London
This Masterclass is for anyone with a passion for both cricket and writing, and is led by two prolific Guardian sports journalists.
Andy Bull writes about all manner of sports for the Guardian and Observer, including cheese rolling and pig racing. Most of the time though, he covers cricket. He writes the Spin column each week, and has spent many long days and nights at the helm of the website's famous over-by-over coverage alongside Rob Smyth. Unlike Vic Marks he has never played for England. Or Somerset. But he did once take a wicket in a game on the village green.
Vic Marks played cricket for Oxford Univ, Somerset, England (6 Tests, 34 ODIs) and Western Australia. Observer's cricket correspondent since 1990 and a regular on BBC's Test Match Special. Chairman of Cricket at Somerset.
You'll cover the realities of being a cricket journalist today, see how complicated matches are distilled into compelling prose, as well practice live reporting and blogging.
