How to Escape and Build a Life Traveling the World
Wednesday, 3 July 2013 from 19:00 to 21:00 (BST)
London, United Kingdom
Here at Escape the City we often hear from people who are considering a sabbatical or going overseas to figure out their next steps, or who want to build a life traveling the world.
This evening is for you if you:
- Are considering taking a sabbatical but aren't sure how to negotiate it
- Have always dreamed about spending your days exploring the globe
- Want to figure out how to build a career set on your own terms
- Need to learn more about using the web and social media to build a following
GiveLiveExplore founder Matt Trinetti has built a location independent lifestyle and will be sharing how you can do the same.
Escape Evenings are informal social evenings designed to get you connecting with other Escape members and to get inspired by interesting speakers.
This evening is about how you can transition into a lifestyle of travel, identifying the smartest next steps and how to move forward with purpose.

When & Where
Escape the City - The Escape School
The Escape School is Escape the City's events arm.
We put on courses, events and meetups aimed at educating and empowering corporate professionals for alternative career paths, entrepreneurialism and adventure.
There is so much rubbish career and startup advice out there. So many unhelpful myths. We are building the Escape School to teach what we wish we’d learnt back in 2009 when we were stuck… sitting glumly on the Tube wondering how on earth to get out.
If Escape the City is a community that helps corporate professionals ‘do something different’ then the Escape School is where we engage closely with you (in the real world). It has been founded with one single objective: to help you grapple with that huge, scary, unmanageable yet exciting question: “What Next?"
