Description

How to find and engage with new audiences for any publication through any major social platform

Social media is the wild frontier of digital magazine marketing. Although the social landscape abounds with tablet and smartphone users, simply getting their attention is an art. Whether your publication is about fashion, cars or pet genealogy, this course will help you avoid spamming the converted, and instead identify and target potential subscribers who don't follow you or read your magazine.

Digital publishing specialist Neil Morgan, founder of Magvault.com, also introduces the apps and skills you need to streamline your social marketing, allowing you to post to multiple platforms, schedule a campaign and change plans on the go, giving you more time to construct effective posts that will have the maximum impact.

Practical workshops will give you hands-on experience of creating persuasive posts, and insider knowledge of a variety of audiences. By the end of the course you'll have a workable social media marketing strategy for your publication, and the knowledge you need to put it into practice. And that's not all – the course ends with a networking opportunity to allow attendees to provide and receive ongoing support even after the course is over.

This course is for you if...

  • You work in marketing for a magazine and want to improve the performance of your subscriptions
  • You work in editorial for a magazine and want to find better ways to connect with new audiences
  • You're a publisher with a stable of digital products and are looking for targeted ways to promote them, or a better understanding of online audiences
