Event Details

Members of the Leeds Co-operative Group warmly invite you to attend Hungry for Activism: A conference to inform, educate and inspire action on food politics!

Supported by The Co-operative Group and TIDAL, Hungry for Activism will offer people in Leeds the opportunity to learn more about the food politics, engage in debate on the topic and organise for change. The day will contain a mixture of presentations, discussions, hands-on workshops, and will close with an open space session.

There are a dozen sessions to choose from, hosted by organisations as diverse as the Permaculture Association, This is Rubbish, Sustain, Leeds City Council, the Fairtrade Foundation and Friends of the Earth to name but a few.
