IIT Immunology Symposium with Pears Lecture
Tuesday 2 June 2015
Tickets for the IIT Immunology Symposium with Pears Lecture 2015 have now sold out.
It may still be worth coming to the venue on the day, as you may be able to gain entrance to the event if there are people who do not show up.
Whilst it is very likely that there will be 'no shows', there is obviously no way of us knowing for sure, so we are not able guarantee admittance on the day to people who have not been able to book a place.
About the Symposium
The UCL Institute of Immunity & Transplantation (IIT) at the Royal Free Hospital is hosting this all-day symposium on 2 June 2015.
Internationally renowned speakers will present the latest research developments in molecular and cellular aspects of the immune system in health and disease. The symposium will also provide a great opportunity for scientists and clinicians from across the disciplines to learn more about cutting edge progress in research and in our understanding of immune mediated disease.
There will also be an abstract competition for early career researchers (ECRs) in both the basic and clinical sciences. Abstracts must be submitted when registering. You will be able to make amendments to the abstract details that you enter on Eventbrite until midday on Friday 1 May. To make amendments you should log back into Eventbrite (see instructions below).
Please note: The deadline for submitting abstracts has now passed.
The abstracts that have been submitted will now be scored by the Symposium Organising Committee. The top-scoring three applicants will be invited to present their research at the Symposium. The other selected applicants will be invited to create a poster of their abstract to display during the day. The Poster and Presentation Competition winners will then be announced and awarded at the end of the Symposium, before the networking drinks reception.
Please see the full abstract competition guidelines below.
This event is run by UCL in partnership with UCLPartners Academic Health Science Centre, the UCL Institute of Immunity & Transplantation (IIT) and Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
