Event Details

Domestic Violence & Abuse (DVA) , including child sexual abuse and exploitation, distorts children’s perceptions of relationship, blame, cause and effect, and has impact on their multi-dimensional growth and development.

Child victims are the most vulnerable in the family matrix, but the reality of employing plausible approaches that bring the best outcomes for them is often faced with multi-directional untoward challenges.

The aim of this national training day is to analyse the multi-dimensional impact of DVA on children and adolescents' growth and development. We will also provide in depth guidance on the best approaches in addressing matters that arise, as the result of DVA. There are limited places available.

Topics:

  1. The Child’s Understanding Of DVA
  2. Child Sexual Abuse & Child Sexual Exploitation
  3. The Complex Dynamics In Faith Communities
  4. Legal Perspectives & Faith
  5. Child Safeguarding & Protection
  6. Individual Recovery & Restoration
  7.  Analysing Impact Of DVA On Children & Adolescents
  8. Post-separation & The Debate On Contact With Abusive Parent

The event starts at 10.00am to 4.00pm. Registration is at 9.30am. The cost is £77.00 per delegate, inclusive of educational materials. Refreshments will be available but lunch will not be provided.
