Inclusive Workplaces: Recognising and supporting diversity in small and medium sized organisations
A fun breakfast event with short presentations from our three speakers, followed by questions and a panel discussion. The speakers will share their experiences of working towards inclusive workplaces, where diversity is celebrated and everyone is encouraged to succeed. They will discuss what has worked and also what has proved more challenging and even downright difficult.
Lewis Shand Smith – Chief Ombudsman at the Ombudsman Service, which covers the communications, energy and a number of other sectors.
Professor Carol Atkinson – Professor of HRM and Associate Dean for Research at Manchester Met University

The CIPD Manchester Branch provides opportunities for its 5000 members to network with local HR and L&D professionals, to continue with their professional development and remain up to date with HR issues. Unless otherwise stated branch events are free for CIPD members to attend, there is a non-member fee of £15 which must be paid online when booking.
