Innovation Nation: a celebration of university and business links

The reception will be an opportunity to hear from business and university partners who have collaborated on innovation projects. You will also have a chance to catch up with contacts, make new links and find out more about university/industry partnerships.

Torri Tir Newydd: dathliad o gysylltiadau prifysgol a busnes

Bydd y derbyniad yn gyfle i glywed gan bartneriaid busnes a phrifysgol sydd wedi cydweithio ar brosiectau sy’n torri tir newydd. Hefyd bydd cyfle i chi sgwrsio gyda chysylltiadau, gwneud cysylltiadau newydd a chael gwybod mwy am bartneriaethau prifysgol/diwydiant.

At the event we will be introducing our brand new publication Innovation Nation, showcasing some of the best collaborations between universities and businesses which are important to the economy of Wales.

The event is sponsored by Cabinet Secretary for Education Kirsty Williams AM and Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Infrastructure Ken Skates AM, and we are delighted that we will be hearing from both the Education Secretary and Minister for Skills Julie James at the event.

The event is delivered in partnership with the Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Programme (REAP) to stimulate an innovation-driven entrepreneurial ecosystem in Wales.

Yn y digwyddiad, byddwn yn cyflwyno ein cyhoeddiad newydd sbon, Torri Tir Newydd, yn dangos esiamplau gorau o gydweithredu rhwng prifysgolion a busnesau sy’n bwysig i economi Cymru.

Mae’r digwyddiad yn cael ei noddi gan Ysgrifennydd y Cabinet ar gyfer Addysg, Kirsty Williams AC, ac Ysgrifennydd y Cabinet ar gyfer yr Economi a Seilwaith, Ken Skates AC, ac rydym yn hynod falch y byddwn yn clywed gan yr Ysgrifennydd Addysg a’r Gweinidog ar gyfer Sgiliau, Julie James, yn y digwyddiad.
