DELIVERING INNOVATION AND SKILLS

The 2016 Institute for Aerospace Technology Annual Showcase will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn about how the University of Nottingham is working with its partners across industry, academia and government to deliver the innovations and skills required to overcome the technical challenges facing the UK and EU aerospace industries.

The theme of the Annual Showcase is Delivering Innovation & Skills. The event will include presentations from a range of industry partners, researchers and academics; and will provide attendees with networking time and the opportunity to attend tours and demonstrations of a range of new cutting edge infrastructure developments at the University.

Our distinguished programme of speakers includes Dr Michael Klingsporn, from Rolls Royce Deutschland, Dr Alexander Peiffer, Airbus Group, and Sylvain Jaber from Safran Landing Systems. In addition, from the University of Nottingham, Professor Seamus Garvey, director of the Rolls Royce UTC on Gas Turbine Transmission Systems and Michele Garibaldi and Sara Roggia, two Marie Skłodowska-Curie early stage researchers from the INNOVATE Doctoral Programme.
