Ceramic artist, Karen Wilkinson is back to run more raku firings, one of the most popular events at Blackwell last year. There is so much to inspire on a walk through Blackwell’s rooms. There will be much to enthuse and excite the Clay Days participants who will design a decorative motif onto a biscuit fired tile which will then be fired on site in Karen’s raku kiln.
It's the art tent outside Blackwell and Abbot Hall this summer for families and children wishing to unlock their inner creativity. Each week we will be offering a different form of art to get involved with, all curated by our artists in residence. Each two hour session will involve a hands-on approach, enabling new skills to be gained and creating memorable moments.
