An introduction to the art of corsetry. You will be provided with all the basics you need to make a Victorian Style Corset and will work with coutil, steel spiral and flat boning, intert a busk and eyelets and finish and bind the corset. We will cover embelishments and if you wish you can bring trims to do this to the class.
All the basic tools and materials will be provided for you to use at the workshop although you are welcome to bring your own sewing machine and sewing kit. You will be contacted in advance to discuss sizing and any other fabrics you may wish to bring with you.
