Learn how to sew LEDs onto fabric and make them light up. You will be using conductive thread to sew simple circuits (really simple- honest) and have the opportunity to experiment with various switches to turn your LED’s on and off.
There will be time to make a simple project to take away for which a kit will be provided. This can be a 'hat torch' using super bright LED's or a ‘cycling indicator’ glove with flashing yellow LED’s. If you have a hat or gloves of your own that you would like to use then bring it along.
If there is time left, you can get help to plan projects of your own and test out circuits using available electronics.
Suitable for ages 10 to adult.
This is aimed at beginners but some previous experience in sewing by hand would be advantageous.
