We would like to invite you to a unique Oracle Java Technology Event on Wednesday 5th November in Kista Sweden. The event will cover Oracle's roadmap and plans for Weblogic Server and the Java Cloud Service, new innovations in Coherence and provide a unique insight into Java 8's new features, plans for Java 9 and sneak peak at what's coming up.

It's a greate opportunity to hear first hand from engineers, development leads, product managers and customers, about how these technologies can be used to develop new innovative application, enhance and scale existing applications or consolidate an optimise them for the future.

Below is the full agenda for the event:

09:00 Coffee and registration 09:45 Coherence roadmap plans, for super scalable, always available data (Craig Blitz, Coherence Product Manager)

Craig will outline where Coherence is headed, the new featured for maximum global availability, as well and innovative plans for Java 8. 10:30 WebLogic, a Cloud Platform for Multi-Tenant Java EE applications (Maciej Gruszka, CAF Product Manager)

In this session Maciej will demonstrate the Oracle Java Cloud, discuss Weblogic Multi-Tenancy support and plans for non-stop availability. 11:15 What's new in Java 8, coming up in Java 9 and unique to Oracle (Henrik Stahl, Java VP Product Development)

Henrik will cover new features in Java 8, like Streams and Lambdas, look at what's coming soon in Java 9 and talk about some of the new unique Oracle features for multi-tenancy. 12:00 Lunch/Coffee 12:45 Real-time Coherence cache and database synchronisation (Dave Felcey, Coherence Product Manager)

The new HotCache feature in Coherence 12c enables database changes to be pushed to Coherence in real-time, so your cache data is never stale. Dave will explain how this works and why no database changes are required.
