Atom is a popular syndication format for web content such as news articles and blog posts. Event-driven architectures provide the basis for extremely loosely-coupled systems. In this talk Ian describes how to implement event-driven systems using the Web as a platform, and in particular, how to replace the middleware usually used to integrate systems with an alternative, Atom-based solution.
