Description

Doctoral students develop a huge range of skills and experience valued by employers. Effectively marketing your skills and experiences to a potential employer on paper is key to being shortlisted for interview. This interactive and practical session explores different employer recruitment strategies and how you can achieve success through effective CVs and application forms.

By the end of the workshop you should:

  • Understand different approaches to job hunting and know when to use them
  • Understand the recruitment process from an employer’s perspective
  • Know how to market yourself effectively on paper
