An  2 and a half hour course run by SWGFL and  aimed at Heads, Computing leads and those with Governance oversight.

This briefing will explore some of the issues and requirements that schools are facing in the light of new technologies, and how a setting can demonstrate a reasonable duty of care in providing a safer and better online environment for all users. It will cover:

• Creating a culture of responsible use

• Statutory requirements

• Filtering and Monitoring solutions

• Secure Transfer Services

• Managing mobile devices

• Alerting illegal content and activity

• Incident management routines and effective practice

• Preparing for a hack
