The Linux Outlaws podcast is a weekly technology talk show concerning news and developments in the world of Open Source software. It includes reviews, tips, interviews and more. The show has been in production since late 2007 and has risen to become one fo the most popular podcasts of it's kind in the world, winning awards and many thousands of listeners along the way.
In the previous 5+ years we've only done joint live shows as part of the annual OggCamp event but not our own regular style of show. With the 300th episode fast approaching we wanted to do something special and get people together to celebrate. What better way than with a live show in front of an audience?
On Sunday February 17th at 17:30 we'll gather in the beautiful surroundings of LEAF on Bold St in Liverpool to conduct a 2 hour live show. Tickets are priced at a flat rate of £5 and all proceeds after costs will be donated to the Software Freedom Conservancy to help fund their vital work. If you can hang around afterwards we'll have a small party in the bar, but we also appreciate many people will have to travel home and the show will finish in plenty of time for you to do so.
Please come and join us to celebrate 300 episodes and also get your voice on this historic recording. There'll be opportunities to ask questions, throw up discussion topics and otherwise get involved through the show.
We hope to see many of you in Liverpool soon :)
