Research Day brings together the LJMU community along with members of the public for a free university wide celebration of its research achievements from the past year.
In the setting of the iconic St Georges Hall in Liverpool city centre, the day will begin with a welcome by LJMU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nigel Weatherill and a keynote speech by the Director of Liverpool School of Art & Design, Professor Caroline Wilkinson (as seen on BBC - King Richard III).
The day will include a poster and photo competition displaying some of the best research from across all four LJMU faculties together with a public vote on who wins the best overall poster and photo.
There will be interactive sessions from some of our internationally acclaimed researchers who will be demonstrating some of their groundbreaking work from the Astrophysics Research Institute, Research Institute for Sport and Exercise Science and the Liverpool School of Art & Design amongst many others.
The day will draw to a close with prize-giving and closing remarks from the Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research, Scholarship and Knowledge Transfer – Professor Robin Leatherbarrow; followed by a Networking Session.
We look forward to seeing you there.
