APPG - Annual General Meeting and session on neighbourhood

The All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Local Democracy recognises that local parish and town councils are an important part of our local democracy and communities, which we want to highlight and champion. Our work aims to raise the profile of this rapidly changing and growing first tier of local government which is putting communities in control of their areas, including leading the way on neighbourhood planning.

Please join us for our next meeting which will include our Annual General Meeting and a session on neighbourhood planning which will discuss the new Neighbourhood Planning Bill and the government's commitment to strengthen neighbourhood planning and make support from planning authorities more transparent.
