Event Details

This course, presented by Aspîre’s CEO, Peter Stuttard, teaches the application and management of Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), aka Supportability Analysis (SA) within a Systems Engineering context. After a general introduction to Supportability Engineering (SE), Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and LSA the course follows the LSA process through the system life cycle.

In each phase of the life cycle the relevant theories and concepts are introduced and these are then consolidated by the performance of a series of practical exercises.

The Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR), aka the Logistics Information Repository (LIR) is introduced early in the course and the results of the exercises will, where applicable, be related to the LSAR compilation process. Thus, the training in the LSAR/ LIR is fully integrated into the course and is not presented as a stand-alone topic.

The course addresses SE, ILS and LSA in accordance with Defence Standard 00-600 and within the context of the Joint Service Publication (JSP) 886 - The Defence Logistics Support Chain Manual.

A proprietary software package ‘EDCAS’ is used as a training aid to support some of the practical exercises.

This course is aimed at LSA Practitioners and ILS Managers (ILSMs).

Aspire Performance Driven Training

Improving skills and performance through the most advanced, cutting edge training systems and methodologies

Aspire Performance Driven Training ( Aspire PDT) designs and delivers training in support engineering and related topics at the highest levels in international defence and civil sector organisations and also to small and medium sized enterprises.

Skills and knowledge are at the heart of the performance of every employee.  A company’s overall performance will be markedly improved by raising their employees’ skills and increasing their knowledge.

In both the civil and defence sectors, any lack of knowledge or gaps in skills could prove potentially harmful and reduce the efficiency and effectiveness of any organisation.  To realise the full potential of employee performance, it is important to correctly identify the gaps in their skills and knowledge and then to design a bespoke training, coaching and mentoring programme to facilitate improved performance.

We can deliver to you 'in-house' or at our dedicated facilities in Tamworth or Lichfield, Staffordshire. We can also produce bespoke training to your exacting requirements.
