Social Media is moving into a new phase. Many companies have for some time been using the likes of twitter and facebook for communication campaigns and collaboration initiatives. Brands have built up fans and followers and are adept at getting messages out, but can they prove a return on investment. Meanwhile CIOs and COOs are grappling with how social tools are best used for creating organisational performance. SMEs too have quickly adopted a variety of social tools, but there are still lessons to be learned for optimisation

Social is a way of life now, and it needs to truly get under your skin if you want to get the best from it.

There will be over 200 people taking part in "Making Social Part of Your DNA" on Thursday in London.

We'd love you all to connect, share and create you own conversations, here is how you can ramp up your participation....

Use the Twitter hashtag #smwdna - others can join in with you AND we can collect your photos, blogs and whatever else you offer!

on Lanyrd - this maybe new to some of you, there is a mobile app where you can see the speakers, tweet from it and connect with others. You can add links, videos and photos here that you think will add to the conversation.

We have a flickr group that you are welcome to join, please add your photos from the day. They don't have to be perfect! We are after action not "portraits" This is the link you can also add video.

We also have KILLER WIFI supplied by nexus globalnet.

One of the most important things for us was having wifi so people could REALLY take part!

Read our @eventbrite blog "how can you break the ice with attendees before your event" Here's 5 ideas using social media here.

That is it! Don't wait until the event, break the ice now.
