Management as a Career

Presented by Carol Husband

Today the world puts huge emphasis on performance and demands more skills than ever before. Yet far too many managers don’t get the guidance they need to tackle their challenging roles. We want to end this paradox and help managers to stop simply getting by… and to start excelling.
In this presentation you’ll discover how the CMI can benefit you by:

Gain professional recognition

Improve your management skills

Boost your career earnings

Raise your confidence & competence

Applicable to all students from London School of Business and Management.

Spaces are limited, thus if you cannot make it, please cancel your ticket at least 24hours prior to the event so your place can be given to another student.

Venue: Malet B33 Birkbeck College Campus

Organiser

London School of Business and Management

The London School of Business and Management is a vibrant and contemporary learning community that seeks to meet the needs of all our students by offering networking opportunities and a uniquely international environment. We are proud of our diverse and vibrant student body.

We ensure that our students participate as active members of the learning community. Every semester each student group elects a Student Academic Representative (STAR) to serve on the Student Staff Consultative Forum (SSCF), to ensure effective and timely communication between students and the Institution. As part of their duties the STARs are also included as full decision-making members of our Academic Committee and Course Committees, which help shape the way the Institution runs and the courses are delivered. We encourage students to engage with their studies and provide regular feedback to allow us to monitor and enhance our course delivery.

We offer a range of valuable services to accommodate the needs of our students and to help them adjust to London’s rich and diverse way of life.
