The Amoo Booster Series returns for the month of November. Our past events have featured some of the world's leading entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and technology professionals discussing current themes affecting the successful growth of startups and the commercialization of their technology.
November's event will feature two succesful business thought leaders discussing Managing Working Capital for Startups; we have a chartered accountant who will go through some of the more technical aspects and the co-founder of a startup that was succesfully acquired by Citrix Systems last Summer, talking through practical aspects of running and funding a venture:

Oliver Rothschild, Principal, Rothschild Corporate Advisors
Oliver (@OllyRothschild) is a corporate strategist active in a variety of business arenas. He has held management level positions with Buchler Rothschild Investments and is currently Chairman of Oliver Rothschild Corporate Advisors as well as The Rockstar Mentoring Group. He is active within a range of industries and holds a diverse portfolio of business interests. Amongst a number of Chairmanships, Oliver Rothschild is also active in other, non-commercial spheres, having previously been elected Chairman of UNICEF (Appeals Committee). In the charitable Sector, Oliver Rothschild currently holds the post of President of ACEVO Solutions, the leading association of voluntary and charitable Chief Executive Officers, and in addition is Chairman of the Sustainable Business Forum. Oliver Rothschild also acts as Ambassador or Patron of a number of charitable organisations.
Ian Swycher, Principal, Accounting Help
Ian is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience in running and developing businesses. Ian is currently involved in running a number of businesses including Accounting Help (www.accounting-help.co.uk); Virtual Directors a firm of management consultants, and Anzen a private equity firm specializing in investing in early-stage technology companies. During the last decade, Ian has been heavily involved in the web industry. He has served at C-level positions and/or advisory board seats and/or invested in more than 30 companies worldwide. Ian has been successfully involved in a number of exits, such as Euro Digital, Bingos and BrokersWeb.com. Currently, he is involved in companies such as Tradeshift.com and Everbread.com, among others.
George Frangou, CEO & Founder, Massive Analytic
George is a technologist/entrepreneur, innovator, senior business leader with several board level Global Fortune500 new business development successes. His current startup is focussed on Big data, visual analytics, information visualisation. As the founder of Platon UK&I, subsidiary of Nordic data management company http://www.platon.net/ and Pronus, George has considerable experience managing capital in early stage technology companies.
Jon Froda, CEO & Founder, Podio (acquired by Citrix Systems)
Jon (@Froda) is a Co-founder of Podio, based in Copenhagen. For several years he had been researching the field of social software, specializing in strategies that help organizations develop knowledge, lead and to stay ahead of the market. This combines a strong theoretical grounding within social tools with a practical approach to building tools for networking and knowledge sharing in the business market. At Podio he was involved with product development and worked closely with partners, customers and users to spread the word about 'the new ways to work' and how to organize in the 21st century.
